ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1 Support the daily operating and lead month end closing process for AFAB Ziyang legal entity and Treat Chengdu activities:

· Coordinate with Shanghai commercial finance team to ensure AP is properly maintained and closed

· Lead to maintain GL, Intercompany, support Fixed Assets modules

· Responsible for GL booking for employee pay & benefits

· Responsible for month end financial reporting, monthly account reconciliations including bank reconciliations

2 Assist with timely, consistent and accurate monthly local GAAP and US GAAP for group reporting

3 Assist with local statutory reporting, and tax reporting, including VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax and tax filing

4 Liaise with external agents to ensure timely local statutory reporting and relevant tax reporting

5 Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with legal and Corporate guidelines/policies, including compliance

6 Assist with document, implement and maintain an effective and robust internal controls system in compliance to SOX requirements, and ensure adherence to approval processes

7 Act as finance focal at treat Chengdu, provide direct finance support to functions

8 Support SAP implementation

9 Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for business needs


Additional Responsibilities:

· This position will report directly to Zi Yang Finance manager.

· Need to travel to Ziyang plant from time to time

· Other duties may be assigned


EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant

· 5-7 years relevant experience

· Working experience in a multinational manufacturing company environment, with the ability to operate in diverse cultures

· Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management as well as external agencies

· Proactive, meticulous and a good team p

· Strong verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide good business partnering support with a customer service focus

· Acts with integrity and ivity and high standards of accountability

· Good time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast pace working environment

· Highly detailed, result oriented and organized in work

· Have a positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods

· Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

Regular business operating hours, and may have to work additional hours to meet with international constituents. May require travel as necessary.



SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Language: English and Chinese (written and spoken)

· Strong systems skills with prior working experience of SAP will be an advantage.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
